The John Guest Single Check Valve is a professional-grade backflow preventer for 1/4" OD beverage and water lines. Utilizing John Guest's world-famous push-fit technology, it allows for a 100% tool-free, gas-tight connection. This valve ensures that liquid or gas only flows in one direction, protecting your regulators and supply lines from back-pressure or contamination. Constructed from high-quality gray acetal with food-grade EPDM O-rings, it is ideal for soda fountain water inlets and pneumatic control lines.
Installation Note: Always install the valve with the flow arrow pointing in the desired direction of travel. Ensure your tubing is cut perfectly square using a dedicated tube cutter. Push the tube into the fitting until it "bottoms out" to ensure a secure internal O-ring seal. These valves are rated for pressures up to 150 PSI.
